Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child

Josh's box for a little boy and mine for a little girl; November 2012
This is one of my favorite charity operations!
This week is the National Collection Week for the Samaritan's Purse "Operation Christmas Child."
What you do is get a plastic tub, about the size of a shoe box, and fill it up with a bunch of goodies and $7 for shipping for some littles who may not get goodies for Christmas or any other time.
There are different age groups you can make a box for and a list of suggested items on the Samaritan's Purse website.
They also have a list of donation sites, which are usually Baptist churches.
You can give a box year-round, but this is the big haul so they can get the boxes to the kids in time for Christmas!
For a boy age 5-9.
For a little girl age 2-4.

  1. I have to be honest. I like unemployed Julie because it means your blog gets updated daily. That is awesome for your readers! And you fill your time so well, which is a lesson for us all.
