The Stagg Tree

On our way out of California we back tracked a little to go walk among some giants. The giant sequoias we got to visit were so beautiful. The one in particular that we went to see was the Stagg Tree. We read that it is the 5th largest tree by volume in the world. It's amazing to try to think what was going on in the world 3,000 years ago when this tree was just a sapling. Simply amazing.

  1. The Statue of Liberty shirt led me to this fun fact: The Stagg tree is 243 ft tall, and the Statue of Liberty is 305 ft from ground to torch. The tallest sequoia is Reedwood at 311 ft, for the win.
