Christmas Quilts in June

Look at me! I have something for Christmas made before Christmas! My Granny was cleaning out her fabric and ever so kindly gave me a bunch of it. There was some Christmas fabric in her donation and I'd been collecting some in hopes of making an almost kitschy/gaudy Christmas quilt. I got a little out of control making flying geese, so now I have a larger quilt and a smaller quilt. The larger one was sent to the long arm quilter, who was with me on the kitschy, so we decided on a berry and holly design in a gold thread. The smaller one is quilted in a grid with variegated green thread. Love how these turned out and if Santa Fe gets as much snow this winter as it did last winter, they will get a lot of use.
