MUTEMATH

We love MUTEMATH!!! This was Josh's fourth and my third time seeing them in concert. They are just really fun to see live and we will always go see them. Their new album, Vitals, is excellent as usual. I'm guessing this concert was really small in crowd numbers for them. There were maybe, maybe 300 people there. I think that made it more fun for everyone. Paul Meany got out into the crowd twice! One time we got to pat him on the back as he was running through the crowd. The other time we got to guide him along on a blow up mattress as he was crowd surfing. It was really fun/awesome. I'd been stalking Todd Gummerman's wife, Laura, on Instagram, because she was riding with them on tour for a few stops. She posted a picture that she was in Albuquerque, so I was reeeaaaalllllly hoping to meet her. She is hilarious and is a write for the blog A Beautiful Mess. I looked and looked for her at the concert, but never found her. Next time maybe!

Darren King (the drummer) always does interactive things with the crowd. This time, he had these gloves hooked up to something and he put them on some of the people in the front row. Every time he hit they made a different noise and lit up.
